iliomad, a dynamic startup, reached out to me with an exciting project: crafting an engaging animation that would effectively explain their services to prospective investors, partners, and clients. After some collaborative brainstorming, they provided me with the script for the voice-over, which served as the foundation for the project.
With the script in hand, I embarked on the creative journey, meticulously crafting a storyboard that would visualise their narrative. Once the storyboard was reviewed and approved, I created the vector illustration that would come to life in the animation.
I worked closely with Eust, a motion designer, and Harry Barker, a talented sound designer. Throughout the project, I held the reins on the art direction, ensuring that every element adhered to the established brand guidelines. My vigilance guaranteed that the final animation was not only informative but also in line with Iliomad’s identity.
In the end, this project stands as a testament to effective collaboration and meticulous oversight, resulting in the small start-up obtaining full funding. It is now a profitable company I’ve worked with many times since.
